Welcome to the Aloha Region, AACA where automotive enthusiasts unite to celebrate and preserve classic cars over 25 years old in their original condition. Our club was founded in 1977 by a small group of local enthusiasts interested in the preservation and enjoyment of antique vehicles. All vehicles 25 years old or older are eligible for most AACA events. These vehicles include cars, trucks, professional vehicles, motorcycles, and motor scooters. Since the club is focused on preserving the original character and technology of antique vehicles, hot rods and resto-rods are not included. Ownership of an antique vehicle is not required, only an interest in antique cars.

Before the Aloha Region was founded a group of men came together to "rescue" a 1912 Avery truck that had been abandoned on Lana'i since 1917. The Avery truck was brought to O'ahu and partially restored to running condition. These same men chartered the Aloha Region, AACA in 1977 and met at members' homes and businesses. It was discovered that there was a 1907 Ford Model N parked under a blue tarp just outside of Bishop Museum. The club negotiated to restore the car for the museum in 1987 and in 2002 the museum gave the car to the club to share it with the people of Hawaii. This 1907 Ford Model N was sold new in Hilo in 1907 and it has been in Hawaii ever since.

The Aloha Region today has around 75 members on several of the Hawaiian islands and on the mainland. Members participate in local parades, car shows, and TV/movie productions. Members also share their mechanical expertise and business contacts for antique car services.

He has owned a vast array of motorcycles, boats and cars - anything with an engine is fair game! His stable of past and present vintage cars include a 1927 Ford Model A Track T, a Sterling Moss-Monaco, a 1930 Ford Model A, and now a 1935 Packard 120.
